Why choose Openedze
What you get when our experts handle this end-to-end
Never miss a deadline
Late fees and interest on GST start accruing the day after the due date. Our team tracks your filings and gets them in on time, every month.
Maximum Input Tax Credit
We reconcile your purchase register with GSTR-2B to claim every rupee of ITC you're entitled to — typical savings: 2–5x our service cost.
Avoid notices & SCNs
Mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-2B trigger notices. We reconcile pre-filing so your returns are consistent and audit-ready.
All GST returns covered
GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 annual return, GSTR-9C reconciliation, CMP-08, ITC-04, GSTR-2X — whatever your business needs.
Proactive communication
We chase you for invoices — not the other way around. Reminders go out a week before each deadline.
Continuous reconciliation
Every quarter we run a full ITC and turnover reconciliation against your books — surfacing missed credits and exposure points early.
What we help with
GSTR-1 filing
Outward supplies return — filed monthly (turnover > ₹5 Cr) or quarterly (QRMP scheme).
GSTR-3B filing
Summary return of liabilities and ITC — filed monthly or quarterly depending on your scheme.
Input Tax Credit reconciliation
Match your purchase register against GSTR-2B; identify missing invoices and chase vendors.
GSTR-9 annual return
Comprehensive annual filing consolidating all your monthly returns. We prepare and file once your books close.
GSTR-9C reconciliation
Reconciliation statement (mandatory above ₹5 Cr turnover) prepared with full audit trail.
QRMP scheme management
If you've opted into Quarterly Return Monthly Payment, we manage IFF, PMT-06 challans, and quarterly GSTR-1/3B together.
What an organised GST filing process looks like
GST return filing isn't just a checkbox — it's the single highest-frequency compliance most Indian businesses face. Late fees compound daily, ITC mismatches accumulate into recoveries, and inconsistent filings invite scrutiny notices.
Our process is deliberately structured: you upload sales and purchase data through a secure portal, our CA reconciles it against GSTR-2B (so missed ITC is caught early), files GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B before the deadline, and shares a one-page summary of liability, ITC claimed, and any open items.
Beyond filing, we run quarterly reconciliations against your books and annual GSTR-9/9C preparation as part of the engagement. You get the same CA every month — so context and continuity compound over time.

Frequently asked questions
What returns do I need to file?▾
It depends on your registration type and turnover. Most businesses file GSTR-1 (outward supplies) and GSTR-3B (summary) monthly or quarterly. Composition dealers file CMP-08 and GSTR-4. We confirm your exact filing calendar at onboarding.
What if I miss a deadline?▾
Late fee is ₹50/day for non-nil returns and ₹20/day for nil returns, capped at ₹5,000. Interest at 18% p.a. applies on any tax liability. We avoid this entirely by tracking your deadlines proactively.
Do you file nil returns too?▾
Yes. Even if you had no sales or purchases in a month, a nil return must be filed — and we file it on time.
Can you handle multi-state GSTINs?▾
Yes. We routinely file for businesses with 5–25 GSTINs across states. Each GSTIN is managed separately with its own filing calendar and reconciliation.
How does ITC reconciliation work?▾
Every month we match your purchase invoices against the auto-populated GSTR-2B. Vendors who haven't filed their GSTR-1 yet block your ITC — we surface those mismatches and help you follow up with vendors.
Do you handle GST notices?▾
Yes. SCN responses, audit objections, and assessment defence are handled by our team. Most clients on the retainer never see a notice in the first place because reconciliation prevents the mismatches that trigger them.
